Peter von Arx was born in Basel Switzerland on June 11, 1936. From 1953 to 1957, Arx Studied Graphic Arts-Lithography and continued his studies at Kunstgewerbeschule, Basel until 1961. He became a freelance graphic designer and started to teach at Kunstgewerbeschule in 1964. He became an instructor for lithography, offset printing, letter form and color. In 1975, he established a graduate program for animation and film graphics.
Fortunately, we got a lot of great posters of Arx in high resolution courtesy of Gregory Vines who is kindly scanned some of Arx posters and reduces the size to fit to this page.
