Le Cobusier was born in Neuchâtel canton, Switzerland on October 6, 1887. He studied at the La-Chaux-de-Fonds Art School under Charles L’Eplattenier and René Chapallaz. He later taught that Art School in 1914 for 4 years. From 1918 to 1922, He didn’t built anything concentrating in his theory, pseudonym. After that he established an architect studio in Paris with his cousin, Jeanneret. in 1930, he became a French citizen.
I always impress with his buildings and furniture designs but Modulor system is something absolutely amazing. The Modulor is an anthropometric scale of proportions devised which uses the proportions of the human body to improve the appearance and function of architecture.
When I was at FIT, I had a publication design class where I am focusing on architect buildings throughout the world. One of the examples are Le Cobusier building, I still had some scan of Le Cobusier’s sketches but I couldn’t remember what the sketches for. (see under) The nice black and white pictures are taken by Rene Burri and color pictures is courtesy of galinsky, a very nice website to help you plan a trip to go to architect sites.

SPECTACULAR! Corbusier’s process is definitive and connective as the realized form. It validates the process of development with evidence in the direct result in the examples shown – great job!
